I understand that everybody can't justify the cost of paying someone else to make them their very own, one of a kind doll, but does that mean you shouldn't have one?  NO! :)

My girls have been doing a 'book club' with my grandmother, their great grandmother, every week.  This last week we went to visit and the cousins (my nieces) surprised us with some handmade felt dolls they had made!  They are from a book called My Felt Doll and they are the CUTEST!

I asked them if I could show off their finished projects to you and here they are!  Hope they inspire you to handcraft your own!  There are so many wonderful pattern books out there.  I've included some links (down below the photos) of some cute pattern books and books for doll making inspiration!!!  Enjoy!!! :)

I thought these were the cutest things ever and that my clever nieces did such a mighty fine job. (They did need a little help... Gabs, a little more.  But they have been a great motivation for them to use their hands and exercise their minds!) Hope you look up these great books and have a blast working on your own projects or helping your kids or grandkids work on theirs!!!
